How to Bake Chicken Wings
Baked chicken wings are a healthier alternative to fried wings, and they're just as delicious! Here's how you can make them:
Ingredients: - 2 lbs chicken wings - 2 tbsp baking powder - 1 tsp salt - 1 tsp paprika - 1/2 tsp garlic powder - 1/2 tsp black pepper - Optional: your choice of seasoning for additional flavor
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture.
3. In a small bowl, mix together the baking powder, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Optional: add any other seasonings you prefer.
4. Place the chicken wings in a large bowl and sprinkle the seasoning mixture over them. Toss the wings until they are evenly coated.
5. Arrange the chicken wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each wing.
6. Bake the chicken wings in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
7. Remove the wings from the oven when they are crispy and golden brown. Serve them hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Tips: - Make sure the chicken wings are dry before seasoning them. Any moisture on the wings will prevent them from getting crispy in the oven. - Use a wire rack on top of the baking sheet to allow for better air circulation and even cooking. - You can adjust the cooking time depending on the size of your wings. Larger wings may take longer to cook than smaller ones.
