How to Back Up Your Android Contacts to Your Google Account

From freem

Backing up your Android contacts to your Google account is a simple and convenient way to ensure that you never lose your valuable contact information. Here's how to do it:

1. Open the "Contacts" app on your Android device.

2. Tap the three horizontal lines (also known as the "hamburger" icon) in the upper-left corner of the screen.

3. Select "Settings" from the menu that appears.

4. Scroll down to the "Backup" section and select "Backup account."

5. If you haven't already added a Google account to your device, tap "Add account" and follow the prompts to sign in to your Google account.

6. Select your Google account from the list of backup accounts.

7. If you want to back up your contacts immediately, tap the "Back up now" button. Otherwise, you can leave the settings as they are and your contacts will be automatically backed up on a regular basis.

That's it! Your Android contacts are now backed up to your Google account, which means you can easily restore them to a new Android device or access them from the web on your computer.
