How to Add a Word to the Dictionary in Microsoft Word
If you frequently use a word that Microsoft Word doesn't recognize, you can easily add it to the dictionary. Here's how to add a word to the dictionary in Microsoft Word:
1. Select the word you want to add to the dictionary. 2. Right-click on the word to open the context menu. 3. Click on "Add to Dictionary" from the context menu. 4. The word will now be added to the custom dictionary and will not be marked as misspelled in future documents.
If you have a lot of words that you want to add to the dictionary, you can also add them all at once by following these steps:
1. Click on the "File" tab in the top left corner of the screen. 2. Click on "Options" from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen. 3. Click on "Proofing" in the options menu. 4. Click on the "Custom Dictionaries" button. 5. Select the dictionary that you want to add words to. 6. Click on the "Edit Word List" button. 7. Enter the words that you want to add to the dictionary, each on a separate line. 8. Click on "OK" to save the changes.
Now, all the words you added will be recognized as correctly spelled in future documents.
