From freem

Adding a folder to choose a Mac desktop background from is a simple process. Here's how you can do it:

1. First, create a new folder on your Mac where you'll store the images you want to use as desktop backgrounds. You can do this by right-clicking on the desktop, selecting "New Folder" and giving it a name.

2. Once you have created the folder, drag and drop the images you want to use as desktop backgrounds into the folder.

3. Open System Preferences on your Mac by clicking on the Apple icon in the top left corner of the screen and selecting "System Preferences" from the drop-down menu.

4. Click on the "Desktop & Screen Saver" icon in the System Preferences window.

5. In the "Desktop & Screen Saver" window, click on the "+" icon located at the bottom left corner.

6. A new Finder window will open. Navigate to the folder you created earlier that contains the images you want to use as desktop backgrounds.

7. Select the folder and click "Choose".

8. The folder will now be added to the list of folders that you can choose from to set your desktop background.

9. To choose an image from the folder as your desktop background, simply select the folder from the list and choose the image you want to use.
