Key features include: * Interdependence: Nodes (e.g., Executive, Army, Proletariat, etc.) are not merely isolated silos; they adapt (and sometimes co-adapt) in response to each other. * Nonlinear feedback: A stress in one node (e.g., an Executive crisis) can cascade across the network, amplifying or attenuating other stresses. * Adaptation and learning: The system changes behavior in response to shocks, adjusting governance, resource allocation, or institutional structures to maintain coherence.
