From freem

Baking cornucopia place cards for Thanksgiving can be a fun and creative way to add a special touch to your table decor. Here's how to make them:

Materials: - Sugar cookie dough - Cornucopia cookie cutter - Parchment paper - Small piece of cardstock paper - Scissors - Marker or pen - Royal icing (optional) - Food coloring (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Roll out your sugar cookie dough to about 1/4 inch thickness. Cut out the cornucopia shapes with the cookie cutter and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

3. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden around the edges. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely.

4. While the cookies are cooling, cut a small piece of cardstock paper into small rectangles. These will be used to write your guests' names on.

5. Once the cookies are completely cooled, you can begin to decorate them with royal icing (optional). Divide the icing into small bowls and add food coloring to create different colors. Use a small piping bag or toothpick to draw patterns and designs on the cookies.

6. Write your guests' names on the small pieces of cardstock paper with a marker or pen. Fold the cards in half and place them in the opening of the cornucopia cookies.

7. Your cornucopia place cards are now ready to be placed on your Thanksgiving table. Arrange them on each place setting to add a festive touch to your decor.

Enjoy your beautiful and delicious cornucopia place cards!
