Buttery syrup cookies are a delicious treat that are easy to bake and perfect for any occasion. Here's a simple recipe to help you make these cookies at home.

Ingredients: - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened - 1/2 cup granulated sugar - 1/2 cup brown sugar - 1 egg - 1/4 cup maple syrup - 1 tsp vanilla extract - 2 cups all-purpose flour - 1 tsp baking soda - 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Beat in the egg until well combined.

4. Add the maple syrup and vanilla extract to the bowl and mix until everything is evenly combined.

5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

7. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, form balls of dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.

8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden brown and the centers are set.
