How to Arch Eyebrows
Arching eyebrows can help to enhance the shape of your face and give you a more polished look. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to arch eyebrows:
1. Determine your natural arch: Start by identifying the natural shape of your eyebrows. Stand in front of a mirror and examine your brows. Look for the highest point of your arch, which is usually above the outer edge of your iris. This is where you should focus on creating the arch.
2. Prep your eyebrows: To prepare your brows for shaping, brush them upwards with a spoolie brush. This will help you to see the natural shape of your brows and make it easier to trim any stray hairs.
3. Trim any long hairs: Use a small pair of scissors to trim any long eyebrow hairs. Be careful not to trim too much, as this can make your eyebrows look uneven.
4. Outline your desired shape: Use an eyebrow pencil to outline the desired shape of your brows. Start at the inner corner and draw a line to the highest point of your arch, then draw another line from the highest point to the outer corner. This will create a guideline for shaping your brows.
5. Remove unwanted hair: Use tweezers to pluck any hairs outside of the outlined shape. Pluck one hair at a time and follow the natural direction of hair growth. Avoid over-plucking as this can make your brows look sparse.
6. Fill in your eyebrows: Use an eyebrow pencil or powder to fill in any gaps in your brows. Use light, feathery strokes to mimic the look of natural hairs.
7. Set your eyebrows: Use a clear brow gel or hairspray to set your eyebrows in place.
Remember, practice makes perfect! It may take a few tries to get the perfect arch for your eyebrows. Be patient, and take your time.
