How to Apply Wet Eyeshadow

From freem

Applying wet eyeshadow can create a bold, vibrant look that can really make your eyes pop. Here are the steps to apply wet eyeshadow:

1. Choose your eyeshadow: Not all eyeshadows work well when wet, so be sure to select a formula that is specifically designed for wet application. Look for eyeshadows that have a creamy or metallic texture, as they tend to work best when applied wet.

2. Gather your tools: You will need a flat, dense eyeshadow brush and a small container of water or setting spray.

3. Wet your brush: Dip your brush into the water or setting spray and then tap off any excess liquid. You want the brush to be damp, not soaking wet.

4. Apply the eyeshadow: Dip the damp brush into the eyeshadow and apply it to your eyelid. Start at the outer corner of your eye and work your way inward, making sure to blend the shadow as you go. You can also use a small, pointed brush to apply wet eyeshadow to the inner corner of your eye or your lower lash line.

5. Layer and blend: If you want to intensify the color, you can layer more eyeshadow on top of the first layer. Make sure to blend the colors together so that there are no harsh lines.

6. Let it dry: Wet eyeshadow can take a little longer to dry than regular eyeshadow, so be patient and let it dry completely before opening your eyes.

7. Finish your look: Once your eyeshadow is dry, you can apply eyeliner, mascara, and any other eye makeup you like to complete your look.

Remember, wet eyeshadow can be more difficult to work with than regular eyeshadow, so it may take some practice to get the technique down. But with a little patience and practice, you can create stunning eye makeup looks with wet eyeshadow.
