How to Adjust Exposure in Photoshop
Adjusting exposure in Photoshop is a useful skill for photographers and designers who want to enhance their images. Here are the steps to adjust exposure in Photoshop:
1. Open the image you want to adjust in Photoshop. 2. Go to the "Adjustments" panel on the right-hand side of the screen and select "Exposure". 3. Use the "Exposure" slider to adjust the overall brightness of the image. Move the slider to the right to increase the exposure or to the left to decrease it. 4. Use the "Offset" slider to adjust the brightness of the midtones. Moving the slider to the right will brighten the midtones, while moving it to the left will darken them. 5. Use the "Gamma Correction" slider to adjust the brightness of the shadows. Moving the slider to the right will brighten the shadows, while moving it to the left will darken them. 6. If you want to adjust the exposure of a specific area of the image, select the "Brush Tool" and paint over the area you want to adjust. Then, go back to the "Exposure" adjustment layer and adjust the sliders as needed. 7. Once you're satisfied with the adjustments, save the image.
In addition to the "Exposure" adjustment, there are other adjustment layers in Photoshop that can help you fine-tune your image's brightness, including "Brightness/Contrast", "Levels", and "Curves".
