Baking a cinnamon coffee cake is a delicious way to start your morning or enjoy as an afternoon snack. Follow these steps to make a delicious cinnamon coffee cake: Ingredients: - 2 cups all-purpose flour - 1 cup granulated sugar - 1 tsp baking powder - 1/2 tsp baking soda - 1/2 tsp salt - 1 tsp ground cinnamon - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened - 2 large eggs - 1 cup sour cream - 2 tsp vanilla extract For the topping: - 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed - 1 tsp ground cinnamon - 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C). Grease a 9-inch (23 cm) round cake pan with butter or cooking spray. 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. 3. In a separate large bowl, beat the butter and granulated sugar together with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, for about 2-3 minutes. 4. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until well combined. Add the sour cream and vanilla extract, and mix until the batter is smooth. 5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overmix the batter. 6. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon for the topping. 7. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan, and smooth out the top with a spatula. Sprinkle half of the topping mixture over the batter. 8. Pour the remaining batter over the topping layer, and smooth out the top again. Sprinkle the rest of the topping mixture over the batter. 9. Drizzle melted butter over the top of the cake. 10. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. 11. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing it to a wire rack to cool completely. 12. Slice and serve the cinnamon coffee cake with a cup of your favorite coffee or tea. Enjoy!
