Snickerdoodles are a classic and delicious cookie that are perfect for any occasion. Here's how to bake them: Ingredients: - 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour - 2 tsp cream of tartar - 1 tsp baking soda - 1/2 tsp salt - 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature - 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar - 2 large eggs - 1 tsp vanilla extract - 1/4 cup granulated sugar - 2 tsp ground cinnamon Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. 3. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes. 4. Add in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, and mix until well combined. 5. Gradually add in the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. 6. In a small bowl, mix together the 1/4 cup of granulated sugar and the 2 tsp of ground cinnamon. 7. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, form the dough into 1-2 inch balls. 8. Roll each ball in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated. 9. Place the dough balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. 10. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden brown. 11. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. 12. Serve and enjoy! Store any leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
