No knead bread is a simple and delicious way to make homemade bread with minimal effort. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to bake no knead bread: Ingredients: - 3 cups all-purpose flour - 1 1/2 teaspoons salt - 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast - 1 1/2 cups lukewarm water Instructions: 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and yeast. 2. Add the lukewarm water to the bowl and stir until a shaggy dough forms. The dough should be sticky and moist. 3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it sit at room temperature for at least 12 hours, or overnight. During this time, the dough will rise and develop a sourdough-like flavor. 4. Preheat your oven to 450Β°F (230Β°C). Place a cast-iron or other oven-safe pot with a lid into the oven to preheat. 5. Remove the plastic wrap from the bowl and turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Shape the dough into a ball and let it rest for 30 minutes. 6. After 30 minutes, carefully remove the preheated pot from the oven and place the dough into it. Cover the pot with the lid and bake for 30 minutes. 7. After 30 minutes, remove the lid and continue baking for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped. 8. Remove the pot from the oven and transfer the bread to a wire rack to cool. Allow the bread to cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy your delicious homemade no knead bread!
