Window decals are a great way to add personality to your vehicle or home windows. Here are some steps to follow when applying window decals: 1. Clean the surface: Before applying the decal, make sure the window is clean and dry. Use a window cleaner and a lint-free cloth to remove any dirt, dust, or grime. This will help the decal stick better to the window. 2. Measure and place the decal: Use a measuring tape to determine where you want the decal to go on the window. Once you have determined the position, place the decal face down on a flat surface and carefully peel the backing paper away from the sticky side of the decal. 3. Apply the decal: Starting from one end, carefully place the decal on the window, using a credit card or squeegee to smooth out any air bubbles as you go. Work from the center of the decal outwards to avoid any wrinkles or creases. If the decal is large, you may want to use a helper to hold the decal in place while you apply it. 4. Remove the transfer tape: Once the decal is in place, use your fingers to gently press the decal onto the window. Then, carefully peel the transfer tape away from the decal, leaving the decal in place on the window. 5. Smooth out any bubbles: If you notice any bubbles or wrinkles in the decal, use a pin or a needle to carefully prick the bubble and then smooth out the decal with your fingers or a credit card. 6. Let the decal dry: Once the decal is in place, let it dry for at least 24 hours before washing the window or exposing it to water. Following these steps will help ensure that your window decal looks great and lasts a long time.
