Editing How to Appear Offline on Facebook Messenger on Android



If you want to appear offline on Facebook Messenger on Android, follow these steps:

1. Open the Facebook Messenger app on your Android device.
2. Tap on your profile picture at the top of the screen to open your profile.
3. In the upper right corner of the screen, tap on the gear icon to open the Settings menu.
4. Scroll down to find the "Active Status" option and tap on it.
5. Toggle the switch next to "Show when you're active" to the off position.

Once you turn off your active status, your friends will no longer be able to see when you're online, and you'll appear as "offline" to them. However, you'll still be able to send and receive messages on Facebook Messenger, and you'll be able to see when your friends are online. If you want to appear online again, simply toggle the switch back to the on position.
