Adding a marker in Google Maps is a great way to mark a specific location or point of interest on a map. Here are the steps to add a marker in Google Maps: 1. Open Google Maps in your web browser or on your mobile device. 2. Search for the location you want to mark by entering the address or name of the location in the search box at the top of the screen. 3. Once you have found the location you want to mark, click or tap and hold on the map to drop a pin. 4. A small box will appear at the bottom of the screen with information about the location. Click or tap on the "Add a label" field to enter a name for the marker. 5. You can also choose a different color for the marker by clicking or tapping on the colored circle next to the label field. 6. Once you have entered a name and selected a color, click or tap the "Save" button to add the marker to the map. 7. You can now see the marker on the map, along with its label and color. You can click or tap on the marker to see more information about the location, or to edit or delete the marker if needed. That's it! You have successfully added a marker to Google Maps.
