Goodreads is a social media platform for book lovers where they can share their reading lists, reviews, and recommendations with other book lovers. Adding a book to a shelf on Goodreads is an easy process. Here are the steps: 1. Log in to your Goodreads account. If you don't have one yet, sign up for a free account at www.goodreads.com. 2. Once you're logged in, search for the book you want to add to a shelf by using the search bar at the top of the page. 3. When you find the book you want to add to a shelf, click on the book's cover to go to its page. 4. On the book's page, you will see several options, including "Want to Read," "Currently Reading," and "Read." Click on the appropriate option. 5. If you want to add the book to a custom shelf, click on the "Add a Shelf" link and enter the name of your new shelf. If you don't want to add the book to a custom shelf, you can skip this step. 6. Click "Save" to add the book to your selected shelf. The book will now be added to your profile, and your friends on Goodreads will be able to see that you've added it to your shelf. That's it! Now you can keep track of all the books you want to read, are currently reading, or have read by adding them to different shelves on Goodreads.
