Adding timecode in Final Cut Pro is a simple process that can be completed in just a few steps. Here's how: 1. Open Final Cut Pro and select the project that you want to add timecode to. 2. Click on the "Window" menu at the top of the screen and select "Show Timecode." 3. The timecode display will appear on your screen. You can choose from a variety of display options by right-clicking on the timecode and selecting "Customize Control." 4. To add timecode to a clip in your timeline, select the clip and click on the "Modify" menu at the top of the screen. Select "Timecode" and choose the appropriate timecode option. 5. If you want to add timecode to the entire project, click on the "Modify" menu and select "Timecode" and then "Project Timecode." 6. You can also add a timecode overlay to your video by selecting the clip or project and then clicking on the "Video Overlay Settings" button in the top right corner of the viewer window. From there, select "Timecode" and choose the appropriate display option. 7. Finally, you can export your project with timecode by selecting "Export" from the "File" menu, choosing your export settings, and selecting the "Include Timecode" option. That's it! With these steps, you can add timecode to your Final Cut Pro project and ensure that your video is properly synced and labeled.
