Adding subtitles to YouTube videos can help improve the accessibility and reach of your content. Here are the steps to add subtitles to your YouTube videos: 1. Sign in to your YouTube account and click on the video manager tab. 2. Find the video to which you want to add subtitles and click on the edit button. 3. Click on the Subtitles/CC tab and then click on Add New Subtitles or CC. 4. Select your language for the subtitles and choose whether you want to create subtitles yourself or upload a pre-existing file. 5. If you choose to create the subtitles yourself, you can type the transcript in the text box provided or use YouTube's auto-captioning feature. 6. If you choose to upload a pre-existing file, you can do so in SRT or VTT format. 7. Once you have created or uploaded the subtitles, you can edit them by clicking on the Edit button. 8. When you are finished editing, click on the Publish button. 9. The subtitles will now appear on your video and viewers can turn them on or off by clicking on the CC button on the bottom right corner of the video player. That's it! Your video is now accessible to a wider audience, including viewers who are deaf or hard of hearing, non-native speakers, and people watching in noisy environments.
