Activating Windows is necessary to ensure that your operating system is genuine and you have access to all the features and updates. Here are the steps to activate Windows: 1. Click on the Start menu and go to Settings. 2. In the Settings window, click on the "Update & Security" option. 3. In the Update & Security window, click on the "Activation" tab. 4. If your Windows is not activated, you will see an option to "Activate Windows". Click on it. 5. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter the product key. If you have purchased a genuine copy of Windows, the product key should be included in the packaging or email. 6. If you don't have a product key, you can purchase one from the Microsoft Store or an authorized reseller. 7. Once you have entered the product key, click on "Activate" to complete the process. 8. If you are connected to the internet, Windows will automatically activate. If not, you will need to follow the on-screen instructions to activate Windows manually. If you are still having trouble activating Windows, you can contact Microsoft support for assistance.
