If you have received a message request on Facebook from someone who is not on your friends list, you can accept it by following these steps: 1. Open the Facebook Messenger app or go to the Facebook website. 2. If you are using the website, click on the message icon located in the top-right corner of the screen. If you are using the app, open the app and tap on the message icon in the bottom-center of the screen. 3. Click on "Message Requests" or "Message Requests" under the message icon. 4. If you have any pending message requests, they will be shown here. Click on the message request that you want to accept. 5. You will see the message from the person who sent the request. If you want to accept the request, click on "Accept" or "Accept Request". If you do not want to accept the request, click on "Delete" or "Delete Request". 6. Once you accept the request, the person who sent it will be able to send you messages on Facebook Messenger. Note: If you receive unwanted or spam messages, you can report or block the sender. To do so, click on the "..." icon next to the message, then select "Report" or "Block".
