=== THE NONDUAL SERMON ON THE MOUNT (Full Text) === (A complete nondual reinterpretation of Matthew 5–7 in modern language) ==== 1. The Opening of the Heart (Beatitudes) ==== Blessed are those who know their own emptiness, for in that openness the Kingdom is revealed. Blessed are those who feel deeply, for their grief loosens the shell of the self. Blessed are the gentle, for gentleness dissolves the boundaries between beings. Blessed are those who hunger for wholeness, for they will remember their true nature. Blessed are the compassionate, for compassion is the recognition of oneself in all. Blessed are the pure in heart, for the single eye sees only what is real. Blessed are those who make peace, for they have returned to the undivided One. Blessed are those who suffer for living in truth, for the world cannot hold them. You are the light of the world. Do not hide what you are. Let your recognition shine so others may remember themselves. ==== 2. The Fulfillment of Wisdom ==== Do not think I have come to replace the old teachings. I reveal their inner core. Not a single stroke of truth will vanish until it is fulfilled within you. Unless your inner life goes deeper than rules, you will not see the Kingdom that is already here. ==== 3. The Undoing of Duality (The Antitheses) ==== ===== Anger ===== It is not only killing that divides you— anger itself is the seed of violence. When you approach another, clear your inner field first. ===== Lust ===== It is not only the act that binds you— the divided gaze fractures the mind. Look with the single eye, and nothing will tempt you. ===== Integrity ===== Let your words be whole. Say only what is true. A divided tongue creates a divided self. ===== Non-Opposition ===== Do not resist evil with evil. When struck, remain whole. When compelled, walk farther than asked. Give without fear, for nothing real can be taken from you. ===== Love ===== Love not only those who love you. Love dissolves the illusion of the enemy. Be as the Father is— shining without preference. ==== 4. The Inner Life (Three Practices) ==== ===== Giving ===== Give in secret. When no one sees you, your heart is revealed to itself. ===== Prayer ===== When you pray, enter your inner room, close the door of the senses, and speak to the Presence that is already speaking within you. Say: Our Source— You are the life in all life. Reveal your unity in us. Let your will unfold through us. Give us today the nourishment of awareness. Release us from our illusions, as we release the illusions we hold against others. Do not let us fall back into forgetfulness, but guide us from error into truth. For the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory are this very awareness, now and forever. ===== Fasting ===== When you fast from the world’s noise, do not advertise your discipline. Be inwardly bright. Only the Father in secret needs to see. ==== 5. The Single Eye (Nondual Perception) ==== Do not store up treasures that decay. Clinging binds the mind to fear. Where your attention rests, your life follows. The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eye is single, your whole being is filled with light. If your eye is divided, the world appears dark. You cannot serve two masters— the ego and the Source. Choose only one. ==== 6. Freedom from Fear ==== Do not worry about your life— look at the birds: they move without anxiety. Look at the lilies: they arise without effort. If creation is held in the Father’s hands, how much more are you? Seek first the Kingdom within, and everything else will arrange itself. Do not fear tomorrow. Tomorrow is its own dream. Be present now. ==== 7. Nonjudgment ==== Do not judge. Judgment divides you from what you judge. The measure you use is the measure used on you— because you are measuring your own mind. Remove the beam from your eye, and the world will clear itself. ==== 8. Sacred Discernment ==== Do not throw what is sacred into the jaws of confusion. Give truth only to those ready to receive it. Ask, and you will recognize. Seek, and you will see. Knock, and the door of your own heart will open. ==== 9. The Golden Insight ==== Whatever you wish others would do unto you, do that for them— for the self and the other are not two. ==== 10. The Narrow Gate ==== The doorway to awakening is narrow because few choose inwardness over spectacle. But within, the path opens wide. Beware those who speak for God but do not know themselves. A tree is known by its fruit— clarity yields clarity; confusion yields confusion. Not those who say “Lord, Lord,” but those who embody the will of the Father enter the Kingdom— because the Kingdom is a way of seeing. ==== 11. The Two Foundations ==== Whoever hears these words and brings them into living builds on rock. Who hears but does not practice builds on sand; the storms of life will wash it away. But the one who stands on the Rock of awareness cannot be shaken, for they have returned to the One.
