The elderly Khajiit’s ears twitch with interest rather than alarm. “Ahhh… a game, yes? This one likes games. But Jobasha insists: it must be a game of words, wits, or luck. No stabbing, no stunning, and definitely no praying to Daedra mid-round.” He gestures for Uncle Eevee to sit at a low table stacked with books, dice, and odd little carved guar-bone tokens. A few curious Dunmer glance over, whispering; Ordinators, mercifully, are nowhere in sight. Jobasha proposes “Riddle-Dice”, a local pastime: each player rolls a small set of dice etched with symbols. The roll determines a riddle category—history, magic, religion, or “things-that-should-not-be”—and the opponent must answer a riddle spoken aloud. Best of three wins. Jobasha smiles, already confident. “If Uncle wins, three books of Uncle’s choosing, yes? If Uncle loses… Jobasha will listen to a full reading. This one has not heard a good story aloud in many years.” He leans back, tail curling contentedly. “Shall Jobasha roll first, or will Uncle Eevee test his luck?” What does Uncle Eevee do next?
