===== Just off the busy plaza of the Foreign Quarter Canton, tucked between curio stalls and the hum of silt striders overhead, stands Jobasha’s Rare Books. The shop is warm and dim, smelling of ink, dust, and old vellum. Tall wooden shelves lean slightly inward, packed tight with tomes from every corner of Tamriel. Candles flicker between stacks, their wax dripped thick like frozen time. ===== Behind the counter sits Jobasha, a well-fed Khajiit with a perpetual grin and half-lidded eyes, his tail flicking lazily as he reads. Holiday ribbons have been strung across a few shelves, and a small paper lantern shaped like Masser hangs from a beam — festive, but understated. Jobasha looks up as Uncle Eevee enters, ears twitching in recognition of a fellow Khajiit. : On offer are skill books, cheap paperbacks, ancient Dunmeri texts, and a rotating stock of scrolls — from basic spells to rare curiosities. A few titles catch your eye immediately: * The Pilgrim’s Path (a reflective read on the Tribunal and faith) * Mystery of Talara, v1 (a dramatic, escapist tale) * 36 Lessons of Vivec (cryptic, dangerous to read seriously) * Several low-cost scrolls: Ondusi’s Unhinging, Almsivi Intervention, and minor destruction spells Jobasha gestures generously at a low cushion near the back shelves. : Uncle Eevee is safe here — for now. What would you like to do? * 📖 Browse or read a specific book * 📜 Purchase or read scrolls * 💬 Talk with Jobasha (gossip, lore, rumors) * 🧭 Leave the shop and continue exploring Vivec Tell me your choice.
