=== Upper class / wealthy === Likely trajectory: Consolidation and insulation. * They will get better at converting technological advantage into durable privilege: private medical upgrades, financial engineering, access to high-quality education and AI augmentation. * Many will cluster into gated/virtual “ecosystems” (private schools, private clinics, private AI services). * Political influence will be used to shape regulation and taxation, slowing redistribution in many countries. Risks for them: systemic shocks (climate, supply-chain collapse, political backlash) can quickly reduce disposable luxuries; concentrated wealth makes them bigger targets for populist movements or stricter regulation. Net effect: On average they will be materially better off than today, with large pockets of extreme wealth and influence — but not immune to disruption.
