== Why is Being Born Again Necessary? == According to Christian theology, being born again is necessary because: 1. All have sinned: The Bible teaches that all humans have sinned and fall short of God's glory (Romans 3:23).[7] 2. Separation from God: Sin separates us from God and leads to spiritual death.[7] 3. Need for salvation: We need to be saved from eternal death, which is the consequence of sin.[8] 4. Requirement for entering God's kingdom: Jesus stated that one must be born again to see and enter the kingdom of God (John 3:3,5).[1]
