== Instructions == 1. Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper. 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. 3. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Whisk until well blended and smooth. 4. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract. 5. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Do not overmix. 6. Fold in the chocolate chips, reserving a handful to sprinkle on top if desired. 7. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. If reserved, sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top. 8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the edges are lightly browned and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. 9. Allow to cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before cutting into bars.
