We will jump into Lesson 2...this was already essentially an easy review as I am sure you can tell.  It gets a bit harder for me probably when we start playing with any sentence that has こと as I am not fully confident about how to use that grammar particle.  Some of the conjugations with polite/plain/past/present and how to integrate them into more complicated grammar structures around chapters 9-12 will become more noticeably difficult for me.  Especially if we want a free flowing conversation that includes all prior grammar taught in the book - that is the key for our free flowing conversations - try to integrate, as much as possible, all grammar that we have done so far.
