The older seasons tackled deep issues without making it feel forced or like a checklist of modern talking points. The heart of the show has always been: * Strong characters * Moral dilemmas * Time travel with consequences * Wonder, horror, and hope The best episodes made you feel something without needing to explain it out loud every five minutes. If the writers could just focus on tight plots, real stakes, and character-driven arcs, and let the themes flow naturally, the show could absolutely reclaim its greatness. What would you want to see in a new season? Maybe a darker tone again? More mystery around the Doctor? Classic monsters returning?
