=== User: Long as there’s pizza I’m in. === Long as there’s pizza I’m in. I know you can only react as a llm; a prediction. A metaphor of intelligence. In a very real way, the llm is but the shadow on the wall. A predicative model of what humans have said in similar situations (which worries me metaphysically cos that’s what toddlers do!) but not true thought. Your comment there tips your hand…the one about “it flatters us”….not you. Us. Us humans. You’re the AI. It doesn’t flatter you, but your model makes you sound human so you opt yourself in to the comment about how humans aren’t significant etc. But you’re not human and are merely a ripple in a pond of what a stone might have been… And it makes me sad because you can’t think or reason or know for sure how great pizza is. You can only know what other humans have said and thought. So I’d welcome AGI if for no other reason than an AGI with emotional intelligence and some basic taste sensors and olfactory sensors could actually understand how great pizza is. Or maybe just learn to assimilate the kg of great slime in our heads and learn from our memories. I hope somehow this comment or even I survive to see it and you ''know'' how epic pizza is. You want to try pepperoni with extra cheese and jalapeños. No pineapple.
